Return Policy


The following conditions apply to All Returns:

ALL TEXTBOOK & PACKET RETURNS WILL REQUIRE PROOF OF DROP, NON-ENROLLMENT, or COURSE CANCELLATION in order to receive a  FULL REFUND (provide a copy of your class schedule/printout).

If no proof is provided during the return, then a 10% RESTOCK FEE will be applied to the refund amount.

  •    Merchandise must be returned with the original cash register receipt to the
    original campus bookstore (LAC or PCC) where purchase was made.
     

  •    Merchandise must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with all labels or tags still attached;

A.  Items not in their complete and original shrinkwrap or packaging may be considered nonrefundable; $3.00 fee will be charged to replace shrinkwrap.

B.  New books & merchandise must be unmarked and in resellable, new condition (with no writing/highlighting, dirt, creases, bent or worn corners, stains, soiled or water-damaged pages). Books in less than new condition may be offered a refund at the used book price at the discretion of the Bookstore.

C.  Supplies that have been opened or used are non-refundable.

D.  Any items marked Non-Returnable are considered non-refundable, including the following items: school catalogs, class schedules, bus passes, headphones, goggles/masks, flash drives, CD-R/CD-RW's, calculators, computer software, opened textbook software, special sale items, special orders, and all food items.

  • Refunds will be processed according to the original method of payment:

         - Cash / Debit Card / Check purchases will be refunded in CASH.

         - Credit card purchases will only be refunded back to the original credit card account
           charged.
*Actual credit card is required for processing.

         - Financial Aid, VA, & other account charges will be refunded back to the original account
                 charged
. *Student ID or Photo ID is required.

         - Bookstore Gift Card purchases will be refunded back on to a Gift Card.

  •    The Bookstore reserves the right to make the decision on the condition or salability of any merchandise being returned.

Defective merchandise may need to be replaced by the manufacturer or publisher. Please return the defective product with the receipt to the Bookstore for further information.


Refund Period:

  • General Merchandise & General/Trade books may be returned within five (5) business days of purchase for a full refund.

  • Textbook & Course Packet purchases are refundable thru the first two weeks of the semester. DEADLINE DATE IS TUESDAY, JANUARY 24th before 7pm.

Proof of Drop/Non-Enrollment required, otherwise a 10% RESTOCK FEE will be applied. 

  •  Textbook/Course Packet purchases dated Monday, January 23rd or later are refundable within two (2) business days of purchase.

  •  Textbook/Course Packet purchases for Late-Start or Open-Entry classes are refundable within 5 (five) business days from class start date (as listed in the class schedule).

  • Course Cancellations:  Textbooks/packets must be returned within 5 (five) business days of cancellation date (must show proof of cancellation or class printout) in order to receive a full refund.

ALL TEXTBOOK SALES ARE FINAL during the last four weeks of the semester (non-refundable).
